Situated in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, the Dog House Hotel has a traditional bar, with an original wood-beamed ceiling, a roaring fire and a patio. Food is available in the bar and in the restaurant and conservatory.
The name of the hotel has an unusual origin. Traditionally, the University of Oxford allowed their students to stable horses, but not the dogs. With nowhere else to house the animals, the proprietor of the local inn offered an invaluable dog-sitting service and the venue became known as the Dog House.
Today, there are 20 comfortable en suite rooms, including 2 feature rooms. Each room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Situated in the heart of Oxfordshire in rural surroundings. Two star AA graded hotel/country inn
