Kinokuniya Yusenkan
A 10-minute drive from Lake Ashi, Kinokuniya Yusenkan is the annex of the Kinokuniya Ryokan which boasts a 300-year history. The property features hot-spring baths, massages and Japanese cuisine among Hakone’s natural splendour. The air-conditioned rooms include an LCD TV and an en suite bath.
Traditionally furnished in a simple zen style, rooms at Yusenkan Kinokuniya include a low table with floor cushions. Guests sleep in a Japanese futon bed on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Green tea and toiletries are provided.
The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Higashi-ashi-no-yu Bus Stop and a 15-minute drive from Kowakidani Train Station. Owakudani Volcanic Valley and Onshi Hakone Park are both about a 15-minute drive. On-site parking is free.
This hotel is connected to Kinokuniya Ryokan via a passageway, and guests can use the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at both hotels. Some baths can be reserved for private use. The hotel lobby has free Wi-Fi.
