Spend the day soaking up the sun in the garden area or go for a swim in the salt-water pool. All chalets are serviced daily and include traditional South African barbecue facilities. The large property also features a playground where little guests can run and climb to their hearts' delight. Named after one of Oudtshoorn’s former mayors, the resort was once home to a spectacular Karoo garden with rare succulent plants. In recent years, management has started to restore the garden to its former glory. Oudtshoorn Holiday Resort is extremely child- and family-friendly. The eight hectare big grounds are completely fenced in and speed bumps on the resort's roads ensure that vehicles stay within the speed limit.
