There is also an entrance to the Cairn Nature Reserve adjacent to the hotel. The nature reserve is great for an enjoyable walk and offers spectacular views across Ilfracombe and across the Bristol Channel to the Welsh coast.
In the region surrounding the hotel, there is a variety of excellent activity centres for quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, paintballing, karting or surfing. There are also 5 golf courses nearby, with courses suitable for all skill levels. There are 5 more courses within a 30-minute drive.
For those who prefer something a little more relaxing, there are several National Trust properties nearby, including Arlington Court and Dunster Castle. Alternatively, you could visit the area’s many beautiful gardens, not least of which are the Royal Horticultural Society gardens at Rosemoor.
